About Ölduhof

Ölduhof is a small horse breeding which we started in 2016/ located in Almannadalur Reykjavík and South Iceland.  

Our priority is to breed with few, but carefully selected mares and stallions.

We aim to breed various types of horses. But the “ golden thread “ is good tölt, with high and elastic movements, great temperament, and a lot of charisma.

We emphasise a good confirmation, that helps the horse rather, than being a goal itself.

• Soft topline, with a wide and strong back
• Well placed neck with good shoulders
• Thick mane
• Very good legs with abundant feathers

We live in Almannadalur Reykjavík, together with our son and our three Danish-Swedish Farmdogs. Here we own a stable, where we train most of our youngsters, competition and sale horses. We also run a horse-riding-company www.vikinghorses.is.
